Dear Members
It was indeed a successful meeting at AAPI Silver Jubilee convention at
Philadelphia May 2007. The AAEMI meeting at the AAPI convention was attended
by Dr.Vijay Akkapedi (Vice president), Dr. Anita Bhavnani(BOD), Dr.Krishnan
Kumar (BOD) also chair at AAPI convention, Mr. Venkat, CEO of EMRI in
India (with whom we have MOU to assist in Emergency Medical Services )
and Dr. Kevin Kinjal. The AAEMI meeting was also attended by Dr. Paresh
Navalkar, who is very active in SEMI, organised EMCON 2004 in Mumbai and
started LIHS (Life Supporte Institue of Health Sciences) at Mumbai.
AAEMI was appreciated for their contribution by AAPI at the award cermony
during Dinner and the outgoing President of AAPI Dr. Balasubramaniam gave
a plaque to AAEMI, which will be displayed at the GB meeting on May 30th
2007.
We are also a proud sponsoring society for 4th Medditerranean Congress
at Sorrento, Italy. As a member of AAEMI you get a discount of 100 Euro
from the registration fees.
Again, looking forward to seeing you all at the GB meeting after the NY
symposium on May 30th and at the dinner at the consulate.
